He is just 12 years old and suffers from incurable Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a disease that makes his bones extremely fragile and brittle, due to which even a hard hand shake can break his bones.
Meet Sparsh Shah. This little wonder resides in New York and has taken internet by storm with his singing.
In 12 years, Sparsh has dealt with more than 125 fractures. His legs and hands cannot bear his weight and therefore he cannot walk like kids his age. But despite his struggles, his spirit is indomitable.
Trained in Hindustani classical music and American vocal music, it is clear that music is his passion. So far he has written 10 songs, has performed in over 40 live programs, appeared on local radio stations and television shows and enjoys writing poetry and short stories.
Earlier this year, Sparsh recorded one of his favourite numbers. Eminem’s ‘Not Afraid’, which became a worldwide phenomenon and was mentioned as the most inspiring cover by Eminem and his record company.
