A taxi driver was attacked by a passenger in Queensland.
The Warwick Daily reported that a taxi driver picked up a teenager around 7.30 on Thursday evening in Warwick, a town south-west of Brisbane.
When the taxi reached its destination, the passenger pulled out a knife and demanded money from the driver.
A struggle broke out between the two, with the driver receiving a cut to his hand. The driver was finally able to take the knife away from the teenager but the attacker fled.
The taxi-driver drove directly to the local police station to register a complaint.
The Police is searching for the teenager who is described to be in his mid-teens, of Aboriginal appearance, 160 centimetres tall with dark hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing a yellow baseball cap, a dark coloured hoodie, dark coloured track suit pants and black shoes.
