A 6-year-old girl has been raped by her school teacher for failing to do her homework.
This crime was reported in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh in India where the school teacher raped a student in school premises.
The survivor sustained severe injuries to her private parts and had to be admitted to district hospital for two days. Upon discharge, the parents of the girl filed a complaint.
The survivor is a student of Class II at a private school. On March 23, she had not completed her homework when her teacher Satya Narayan Verma punished her and asked her to go the school backyard. Verma followed the girl to the backyard and raped her. He also threatened her to keep mum, said police.
Survivor returned home and later her mother found the little girl bleeding. That is when she shared what had happened.
The survivor was immediately admitted to hospital for treatment and a case was registered against the accused. On March 25, accused was arrested and sent to jail, police said.
