It’s a cold winter night in Sydney on the very first day of July, the temperature has dropped to almost 6 degrees Cellsius and a cold wind blows across our face as the curtain of night drops over the evening skies.
The stage curtain rises on the dot of time at the Redgum Function Centre! Well begun- the audience packed in a full house heave a sigh of relief!

The air of expectation amidst the music lovers and the passion of the Jazba band are palpable! The cold Night soon turns into a warm mesmerization event of moods and memories of Kishore Kumar. The main singers Sadiq Rehmani, Dilip Bhave and Rucha Lange belt out several Kishore Kumar numbers to near perfection. Together they evoke the moods and memories of the often eccentric Kishore Kumar. Avijit Sarkar narrates Kishore Kumar’s tales of eccentricity.

Even while providing perfect accompaniment The musicians on stage are thoroughly enjoying each moment as they exchange pleasantries between themselves and occasionally share their jokes with the audience! The applause rises to a crescendo!
Jazba begins on time and ends on time and leaves the audience craving for more. This is a rare treat for Sydney's music lovers. But can we leave without familiarising ourselves with the names of those wonderful musicians? Maybe not!
