Time to explore fourth 'C' between Australia and India, says Vinay Sahasrabuddhe

In this special tete-e-tete, the President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations Mr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe shares how it is time for Australia and India to go beyond the three 'C's of - Cricket, Curry and Commonwealth and explore the fourth 'C' - that of culture.

Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, the President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the National Vice President of the ruling party in India, Bharatiya Janata Party joined SBS Hindi studios in Sydney to talk about ICCR’s plan and his vision to collaborate with other countries through the Indian culture.

“There’s a scope to collaborate with other countries beyond Indian music and dance. Indian culture represents many other forms like weaving methods, our cultural traditions and celebrations. It is time to introduce these to the world,” Mr Sahasrabuddhe says in this exclusive interview with SBS Hindi.

“We would also like to encourage people to spend time with Indian families to learn and understand the Indian culture,” he said.

The Indian Member of Parliament will be visiting Sydney and Canberra on his Australian visit.
