Train Derailed In Andhra Pradesh 32 Dead 54 Injured

The Hirakhand Express train going to Bhubaneshwar got derailed in Andhra Pradesh leading to the death of 32 people and leaving atleast 54 passengers injured. The toll is expected to rise.

The Hirakhand Express on it's way to Bhubaneshwar got derailed late last night at Vijaynagaram Andhra Pradesh. So far 32 passengers are reported dead and about 54 have been injured. Tolls are expected to rise.

Rescue workers and doctors teams have been working at the disaster site. The injured have been admitted to hospitals nearby. Besides the engine, the luggage van, two general coaches, two sleeper coaches, one AC three tier coach and an AC two tier coach derailed. The Government has announced a funding of 2.2 lakh rupees to the families of the dead and 50 lakh rupees to those who have been seriously injured and rupees 25 lakhs to those who have sustained minor injuries.
