Thieves have gone on a rampage in Melbourne's south-east, targeting service stations and a house.
An Indian-origin man, Kukveer Singh, parked his car outside (with keys inside) a petrol station to buy a quick energy drink.
The drink cost him dearly - Kulveer found his jeep gone with his mobile phone and belongings in it.
An African-origin man in a hoodie found Kulveer an easy target!
With the help of the petrol station attendant, Kulveer tracked his mobile phone's GPS.
The police found his jeep overturned and abandoned after crashing into a parked car.
Kulveer says people need to be more careful nowadays.
Witnesses saw four youths running away from the scene.
