Meet Indian stand-up comedian Shyam Sunder, also known as Shyam Rangeela, who recently shot to limelight after his act on Indian television show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge went viral on social media.

His performance where he mimics India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has gone viral on social media.

The show’s panel of judges comprising Akshay Kumar, Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua, and Hussain Dalal gave him a standing ovation for his act.

Shyam hails from Sriganganagar, a small town in Rajasthan.

He wanted to be a comedian since the age of 11 years.

After finishing school, he moved to Jaipur to pursue courses in animation and theatre where he started experimenting with mimicry.

He started by mimicking Bollywood stars but success finally arrived after audience lauded him for mimicking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He has his own YouTube channel with over 28,000 subscribers. One of his videos on YouTube, ‘Modiji’s reaction on Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’ has garnered over 1 million views.
