Indian Business Tycoon Vijay Mallya, who owes Rs 9000 crores to Indian public sectors banks has hit back at the media reports that he has fled the country to avoid legal action against him.

On Thursday, Vijay Mallya leaving India became a talking point inside and outside the Indian Parliament.
Talking to reporters outside the Parliament, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi accused the government of allowing a free passage to Mallya. "We asked Arun Jaitley how they could allow someone like that to flee the country. He gave such a long speech but refused to answer our question," said Rahul and repeated his "fair and lovely" taunt over the government's amnesty scheme for tax defaulters.
Meanwhile, Vijay Mallya who is believed to be in London has hit back at the media reports that he has fled the country in a series of tweets.
