India and Australia are set to clash in an ODI and Twenty20 International series beginning on January 12. The series comprises of five ODIs and 3 T20s.
The Indian team arrived in Perth, Australia on 6th January.
Virat Kohli soaks in the sun
Test-captain Virat Kohli, riding high after being awarded the Indian Cricketer of the Year by BCCI, shared some photos of his arrival in Australia on Facebook. “Touch down Australia. Great way to start 2016. Absolutely love the vibe,” he wrote on Facebook while sharing his photo with a thumbs up.

He later posted a photo of him with his team mates at the nets in Perth, where India is going to play two warm up matches against Western Australia XI. While the first match will be a T20, the second match will be a 50 over game which will be played on Saturday.

He later posted a photo of him soaking in some sun in Perth before the series begins.

David Warner to miss 2 one-day matches
EVEN as the Indian team got done with their maiden practice session at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) ground in Perth, there was some good news on offer for the visitors with aggressive opener David Warner set to miss the first two matches of the ODI series as he will be on paternity leave.

Warner though will be back to torment them for the last three ODIs after missing out on Perth and Brisbane.
