Australian skipper Steve Smith is disappointed with Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI) releasing footage of the conversation that took place on field on Day 3 of the fourth test between Australia and India played in Dharamsala.

The video uploaded by BCCI's media team shows Matthew Wade sledging Ravindra Jadeja from behind the stumps while he was batting.

The said incident happened during Monday's morning session when India was batting.

"'Gary (Nathan Lyon's nickname) you are the best in all conditions. You are not a one trick pony'," Wade's comments were caught by the stump microphone.

In fact, one of the umpires — Marais Erasmus — was seen saying: "Wade will you stop or not."

Wade kept on chirping, telling Jadeja that he can click a selfie while wielding a sword and put it on Instagram.

Jadeja then walked up to the square leg umpire saying: "I won't keep quiet if he continues".

"How come you don't get picked outside India? Why is that? Why don't you get picked?" Wade could be heard saying to Jadeja.

Smith quipped during Jadeja's game-changing innings of 63 that "this'll be his last test for a while, they're going away".

"You don't deserve to play anywhere but here because you're useless," Smith barked.
Skipper Steve Smith criticised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for publishing this video.

During the post-match press conference, Smith said, "Yeah, I was a little bit disappointed that you know the BCCI sifts through archives to find a conversation in the field that was happening between Matty (Wade) and Jadeja. You know I think it has happened between both sides throughout the series, so the fact that they have done that to us is pretty disappointing."

Steve Smith added that what happens on the field should stay there.

"What's said on the field should stay on the field. Guys are going to say things here and there. Emotions will be high in such a series. Yes, I was a little bit disappointed that the BCCI did bring that up," the skipper said.
India defeated Australia by eight wickets to take four-Test series 2-1.
