The trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie, Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has gone viral on internet overnight after it was released on Monday evening.
The trailer has been viewed over 18 million times on social media sites like YouTube and Facebook.
The trailer shows Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharaja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.
Set in the 14th century India, the three protagonists in the trailer are shown in elaborate royal set-ups with massive special effects.
Bollywood celebs have lauded the trailer with Karan Johar saying, the trailer is ‘breathtaking and magnificent visuals all over’ and Alia Bhatt tweeting, ‘Blownnnnnnnn away by the Padmavati Trailer !!!!! Noooo words!!!!! Epic epic epic.’
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is slated for release on 1st December.
