Watch: Passenger manhandled in Delhi, IndiGo apologises

IndiGo, a low-cost airline, has apologized for an incident occurred last month where a passenger was manhandled by one of the staff members.

A video has come out and shared widely in which a passenger and an airlines staffer can be seen trying to punch the other. According to a report published by NDTV, this video is of October 15. NDTV has reported that the passenger, Rajeev Katiyal was travelling from Chennai.

Katiyal landed in Delhi but was physically prevented from boarding the coach by an airline staff. The video shows that the staff and the passenger get into a fight.
The airline has apologized and said that the staff member involved has been fired.

"Incident probed by designated committee. Took action against staff who was main culprit, by immediately terminating his employment," the airline said.
IndiGo president Aditya Ghosh has offered a personal apology. He said in a statement, “My personal apologies... this does not reflect our culture.”
