A 21-year-old woman in Melbourne has landed in hospital after a carjacking incident in Tarneit on Friday night.
A woman in her twenties had just stepped out of her car at Wickford Road in Tarneit, Melbourne's West, at around 10.30 pm when an unknown man jumped in the driver's seat and sped off.
The victim was temporarily dragged by the moving car resulting in facial and body injuries.
She has been taken to hospital and Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward with more information.
