Young man of 'Indian-appearance' found with critical injuries in Melbourne

The man was discovered with serious injuries to his head and upper body, Victoria Police has said.

Police are appealing for witnesses and hope to identify a man found with life-threatening injuries in Berwick in Melbourne last night.

Emergency services were called to Beldale Court where the injured man was found lying on the road near a shopping centre about 10.20pm.

The man received serious injuries to his head and upper body and was taken to hospital in a life threatening condition, Victoria Police said.
The man is believed to be aged in his 20s to 30-years-old and is perceived to be of Indian Sub-Continental appearance.

He was wearing a burgundy, blue and white shirt with burgundy track suit pants and had no shoes on.

Police are yet to identify the man and are appealing to anyone with information or any witnesses that may have been in the area at the time.
