$3 million pilot to build energy-efficient homes for at-risk women in Australia

The rise in homelessness among women and girls has sparked renewed calls for more low-cost housing. More than 400,000 older women in Australia are believed to be at risk of homelessness. A $3 million pilot project plans to build up to eight small, energy-efficient homes in regional NSW by Christmas.
