'78 years after Mahatma Gandhi’s death, his vision of peace remains stronger than ever'

On 30 January 1948, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on the steps of Birla House in New Delhi while on his way to lead his multi-faith evening prayers. In this episode, we speak with Dr Vedabhayas Kundu, Program Officer at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti in New Delhi. He shares how the world responded to the news of his assassination and reflects on why Mahatma Gandhi continues to be remembered worldwide 78 years after his death.
