Doctors say a new blood test could help predict the onset of Alzheimer's disease years before symptoms appear. The test measures a biomarker known as p-tau217, which researchers say can detect signs of the disease five to ten years before otherwise healthy people begin showing symptoms. Experts believe the breakthrough could transform how Alzheimer's is diagnosed and monitored.
