While supermarket giant Coles announced a record-breaking increase in its annual profits, a report by Deakin University revealed that shoppers are worried about the cost of staple food items at supermarkets. Despite huge profits, incidents of shoppers carrying goods without bills and shoplifting in large quantities have come to the fore.
