Australia set to ban Nazi symbols under new counter-terrorism laws

The Federal government has decided to ban the display and trade of two major Nazi symbols. These symbols are associated with antisemitism and hatred. One of these symbols is the Nazi Heckenkreuz, also known as the 'Nazi Swastika' due to its close resemblance with the ancient religious and cultural symbol, Swastika. Experts and religious leaders tell why it is important to communicate correct information on this nationwide ban to ensure religious harmony.
