A new report reveals that First Nations Australians are twice as likely to face difficulties accessing their superannuation compared to non-Indigenous Australians. Systemic barriers, such as rigid ID verification, digital-only processes, and culturally insensitive customer service, often delay access for months or even years. With many experiencing financial hardship or losing loved ones, experts are calling for urgent reforms and improved support.
