Cheti Chand, also known as Chaitra Chand, marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year on the first day of the month of Chaitra and commemorates Jhulelal, the patron saint of the Sindhi community. In this podcast, community leaders across Australia share how they are finding innovative ways to preserve Sindhi language, food and traditions, while carrying forward stories of resilience and displacement rooted in the Partition of India in 1947.
