COVID-19 deaths in Australia exceed 10,000

COVID-19 has now killed over 10,000 Australians, with more than 70 percent of those deaths occurring in the past six months. Experts warn that the disease is on track to become the second leading cause of death in Australia this year, behind heart disease.
