Concerns mount over disease and exposure amid search for earthquake survivors in Japan

One week after Japan's deadly New Year's Day earthquake, the residents of Wajima are still grappling with the magnitude of the disaster. The 7.6-magnitude quake levelled homes across the Noto Peninsula, with Wajima at the epicentre. Concerns are growing as thousands of people in the area still lack access to water and electricity, posing risks of disease and exposure to the cold.
