A new report backed by the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association warns Australia lacks a national strategy to manage artificial intelligence at work. As AI use surges among employees, concerns are growing over surveillance, job security and rising workloads. Researchers say the future impact of AI will depend less on technology itself and more on policy decisions and cooperation. An ongoing national forum in Adelaide is debating the issue.
