For Indian Australians, Independence Day arrives with a particular ache: pride in how far the country has come, and a wish to see it go further. As India marks its 80th Independence Day, Swati Sharma of SBS Hindi spoke to members of the diaspora, as they talk about the pride that never fades with distance, the memories that come back sharpest on 15 August, and the freedoms they believe their country is still working towards.
