Federal government set to release its budget today

Ahead of the federal budget, the Australian government is trying to emphasize its credentials in creating jobs, spending on infrastructure and reducing the cost of living pressures. However, the opposition says it's a move to distract voters ahead of the upcoming federal election by spending lots of money.
