Garma festival honours First Nations people in the army with dedicated stand

At this year's Garma Festival, a special booth showcased indigenous participation in the Australian Defence Force, with a focus on Norforce. Over 60 First Nations troops who served in the Korean War have been officially acknowledged by the Australian War Memorial. According to experts, this represents a significant advancement in honouring the sacrifices made by First Nations veterans. The event offered insight through engaging with their service stories.
