The new research also revealed that overall, around half had not had any sort of health assessment in the past 12 months (40%) and only 31% have had a mental health check, despite 55% of respondents reporting they suffer anxiety, 42% low self-esteem and 34% coping with depression. Credits- AAP

A national report, conducted by digital youth engagement platform Year13 in partnership with purpose-built student accommodation Scape Australia, paints a stark picture of youth health engagement – with 40 percent admitting they hadn’t had a health check overall in the past 12 months.
