Government intensifies migration agent crackdown; sanctions three in latest strike | Taaza Update

In it's latest crackdown, Australia's migration agent watchdog OMARA has sanctioned three registered agents after uncovering "front agent" practices, where fake agents lodged hundreds of visa applications. Assistant Minister Julian Hill says the government is putting more resources into the crackdown that aims to protect applicants who trust that a qualified, registered agent is actually doing the work.
