What experts say parents should tell children about violent attacks

Exposure to violent attacks can have deep and long-lasting impacts on people of all ages. For parents, deciding how to explain such incidents to children, or how much to shield them, can be especially challenging. In the light of recent Bondi shooting incident, community worker and Art therapist Nazia Wasif shares practical guidance on helping families talk through fear, confusion and emotional responses together.
