Indian community holds vigil for Bondi attack victims, calls for social unity

In the aftermath of the deadly Bondi Beach terror attack that killed at least 16 people, Sydney’s Indian community gathered in Harris Park to mourn the victims and call for unity. Federal and state Members of Parliament, community leaders and police urged calm, vigilance and trust. Meanwhile Australia debates tougher gun laws and misinformation risks, as state government pledges action for social cohesion and safety.
