Australia has unveiled its National AI Plan, promising a multi-billion economic boost by 2030 while introducing new safety guardrails. But the plan comes as Australians face a dual crisis: AI-powered scams cost $2.03 billion in 2024, and experts warn that 33 per cent of the workforce could face unemployment by 2030.
