In 1984, a catastrophic gas leak, now known as the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, shook the world. Four decades later, efforts to remove the toxic waste from the site have finally begun. On that harrowing night, Dr Amit Zutshi, now based in Melbourne, was sleeping near the factory in Bhopal with his family. In a conversation with Itee Dewan, he recounts his memories of that fateful night.
