Australia introduces new rules to curb 'Visa Hopping': Here's what international students need to do

The Australian government is implementing strict measures to curb 'visa hopping' by foreign citizens. Starting from 1 July, holders of visitor visas and temporary visas will no longer be able to apply for student visas to remain in Australia.
