Recognising talent: Nominations open for the second year of Australian Sikh Awards for Excellence
The last date for filing nominations for the awards has been extended to May 7. Finalists of the awards will be announced on July 29 whereas to facilitate the winners, a celebratory night will be held in Sydney on August 31.
Sikh Youth Australia is continuing its efforts to honour outstanding achievers in various fields by opening nominations for the second year of the Australian Sikh Awards for Excellence. These awards aim to recognize the contributions of individuals from the Sikh faith to the wider Australian community. Tarandeep Singh Ahuja of Sikh Youth Australia spoke to SBS Hindi, discussing the various award categories and the nomination process.
