Breaking barriers for mental health: Scientist Minal Menezes crowned Mrs Australia International 2023
Dr Menezes has done PhD from Sydney Medical School and specialised in Mitochondrial disorders and Genetic Disorders.
To promote mental health awareness, Dr Minal Menezes, an India-born scientist, made the bold decision to venture beyond her comfort zone and participate in a beauty pageant. With determination and perseverance, she successfully advanced through each round and ultimately secured the coveted title of Mrs Australia International 2023. In an interview with SBS Hindi, she candidly discussed the significance of her participation and the hurdles she encountered along the way.
