A new research of Australian Institute of Family Studies has found that one in five Australian women changed their plans to have babies because of the uncertainty caused by the current pandemic. One in seven women indicated that the child could face challenging times during the pregnancy. Concerns like visiting a doctor or a hospital could risk exposing the child to the virus, have also impacted the decision to have children for many women.
