You may have come across peptides, injectable compounds often promoted for quick fat loss, anti-ageing benefits, and even enhanced tanning. They’re easy to access: a simple online search or a link from a social media influencer can lead to them being delivered straight to your door. From there, use can be as simple as self-injecting, no doctor’s visit or prescription required. However, many of these substances are not approved for human use, and there is limited clinical evidence to support their safety or effectiveness.
