Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the U-S Federal Reserve's decision to cut interest rates by 0.5 per cent does not affect the Australian economy. It comes following the announcement of the unemployment rate for August by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which remained unchanged at 4.2 per cent from July. Source: AAP
