Effective 1 October 2025, India has introduced the e-Arrival Card, a digital replacement for the Disembarkation Card. All foreign travellers, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders, are required to complete this form online up to 72 hours before arriving in India through the official Indian visa website or the Su-Swagatam mobile app. Speaking with SBS Hindi, travel agent Tanvi Goel explains the aim of the new system, outlines the submission process, and addresses common areas of confusion for travellers.
