'Swiping right the right way': Voluntary code to improve user safety on dating apps launched

Although 75 per cent of dating app companies have signed up to the voluntary code, Communication Minister Michelle Rowland encourages others to join in.

The federal government has introduced a voluntary code to enhance user safety on dating apps, with nearly 75 per cent of online dating platforms in the country adopting it. This new code is designed to create safer communities, both physically and virtually, ensuring everyone is treated equally and with respect.
