The declaration of the UN's 'Year of Millets' in 2023 has sparked a global effort to promote the recognition of millets. One such initiative emerged from Sydney, where Javed Khan, a restaurant owner, embarked on a culinary journey to spotlight this superfood. As a member of the NSW Restaurant and Catering Association Council, Mr Khan has also advocated to incorporate the millet-based dishes in a wide array of events, including corporate meetings and weddings.
