2 killed in synagogue attack in Manchester

Two people were killed and three others seriously injured after a car rammed into pedestrians and the suspect stabbed a security guard near a synagogue in Manchester, northern England. Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers shot and killed the suspect, who was identified as a 35-year-old British national. The incident happened at a time when Jewish communities worldwide observed Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
