She said this vibrant community plays an important role in deepening the relationship between the two nations. Speaking about the possibility of a visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July this year, Allan said she would welcome the opportunity to host him. She also addressed a range of state issues during a recent media briefing, including the upcoming state budget and concerns about crime in Victoria.
