Cricket Australia has announced that over 220,000 tickets were snapped up on the opening day of the pre-sale for the 2025-26 Men's Ashes series, shattering the previous single-day sales record. The demand blitzed the earlier benchmark set during the 2017-18 Ashes pre-sale, when 111,741 tickets were sold in a day. SBS Hindi spoke to a passionate cricket fan who waited online for hours to book tickets, watching as thousands lined up ahead in the virtual queue.
