The conflict in the Middle East has now entered its fifth week. The Quad, a strategic alliance of the US, Japan, India, and Australia, has remained largely inactive, following the absence of a leaders-level summit during the second Trump administration and ongoing strategic challenges. In this podcast, we spoke with two leading experts, Amitabh Mattoo, former Director of the Australia India Institute, and Lisa Singh, current CEO of the institute, to explore the Quad’s role and how Australia and India can contribute during this period of heightened conflict.
