A report by the Women's Economic Equality Taskforce reveals that barriers preventing women's full participation in the workforce are costing the Australian economy $128 billion. The taskforce, comprising 13 women, gathered input from thousands of women and advocates nationwide over a year. The report recommends implementing a full year of paid parental leave and increasing investments in early childcare and education to address these challenges.
