The World Trade and Tourism Council's latest report on Economic Impact suggests that India is likely to become the 3rd biggest tourism industry in the world in 10 years.

According to WTTC currently India is the 7th largest tourism economy in the world. In this comprehensive report the,World Trade and Tourism Council has also indicated that travel and tourism contributed to over 26 million jobs in 2017 or around 5% of total employment in India.
