NSW Police has charged a Sydney osteopath with sexually assaulting a woman who came for his consultation.
Police said the 38-year-old man was a doctor but also practised as an osteopath.
A police statement said the 23-year-old victim attended the clinic on two occasions in February and March this year and was allegedly sexually assaulted during her massage appointments at his clinic in Bondi Junction.
The man was arrested on Wednesday at the clinic and was charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of indecent assault.
He was refused bail and will appear at Waverley Local Court today.
Eastern Suburbs Police Detective Inspector Peter Glynn told ABC, "On both occasions she received some inappropriate attention during a massage."
He further added that he could not go into the details of the assault.
